Cardiac troponin I (cTnI) is considered as a gold standard for diagnostic of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and myocardial infarction (MI). The biomarker is released into blood stream during cardiac event. In high-sensitivity cTnI test can be suitable to rule out MI and to identify a low-risk group of patients who may avoid unnecessary hospital admissions and increase the patient care in emergency departments.
HyTest offers 5 new antibodies specific for cTnI. The antibodies are specific to epitopes 22-40 (Y306 and Y503), 83-100 (Y101), 161-178 (Y501), and 174-191 (Y502). The new clones can be found under Cat.# 4T21cc and RC4T21. All the antibodies can be used for quantitative cTnI immunoassay development. Recommended pairs for the new clones is presented in the table 1.
