We have developed several monoclonal antibodies that enable the development of species-specific immunoassays for detecting two major acute phase proteins in animals: C-reactive protein (CRP) and serum amyloid A (SAA). Both proteins can be used as markers of systemic inflammation. Their concentrations in blood increase significantly within just hours after the onset of various inflammatory stimuli and decrease quickly following the elimination of the source of inflammation.
We provide four MAbs specific to canine CRP and eight MAbs for the detection of canine, feline and equine SAA. In addition, we offer recombinant canine CRP and recombinant canine, feline and equine SAA proteins.
